The Bridge Golf Learning Center, our future home base in Harlem, is getting closer to completion.
The walls and paint are finished, and the wiring is nearly done. In the coming weeks, we’ll be installing our three Trackman 4 golf simulators and rolling out the turf. When completed, the 2,300-square-foot learning center will provide a comprehensive indoor setting for golf instruction with the state-of-the-art simulators, putting greens and a dedicated space for a STEM lab and other educational enrichment activities.
The center will be home to the Bridge Golf Foundation offices and the after-school program. When our young men are not using the center, it will be open to paying customers who will be able to rent time on the simulators and take lessons from Director of Golf Randy Taylor and Teaching Professional Brian Hwang.
The facility is set to be completed by the middle of February. After a week of staff training inside the new space, we’ll be ready to open the doors to our young men and the public.
“The last 10 percent of the work is always the hardest,” said Farrell Evans, executive director and co-founder of the Bridge Golf Foundation. “Our architect, Gordon Kipping, and general contractor, Ron Baker, are working very hard to bring this project, which began in September, to completion.”
