At The Bridge Golf Foundation, we are all about technology. Our TrackMan simulators and SAM PuttLab are invaluable training tools, not to mention a lot of fun to use. But if our young men are going to become serious players, they need to get outdoors on the golf course as well.

This spring, we’ve started an outdoor program in which our students head to Dunwoodie Golf Course in Yonkers; half go on Tuesdays, and the other half on Thursdays. At Dunwoodie, they work with our teaching professionals, including Todd Bordonaro, who is also the director of instruction at the course.

The routine at Dunwoodie includes TPI-based exercises for fitness and flexibility, time hitting balls on the range, and short game practice.

We are seeing amazing progress in our young men’s golf games, as evidenced by the swing video of Donte Jones below.
