Michael Alameda, a Foundation student, got to spend some time with Christian Heavens during Saturday’s open house. Heavens stopped by before heading to Morocco for a pro tournament.
The Bridge Golf Learning Center officially opened for business on Monday morning after three busy days of open houses.
From Friday to Sunday, visitors got a chance to try out our TrackMan simulators, meet our staff, and learn about our Foundation. We had many Harlem families come by, and the simulator technology was a big hit with all the kids. Other guests included Maurice DuBois from CBS New York and Christian Heavens, a former Big Break contestant who visited before leaving to play a European Tour Event in Morocco.
The Learning Center will now begin a busy daily routine, serving as the home for our Foundation’s after school program and offering fee-based services for golfers, including lessons, classes and simulator sessions.
The Learning Center, located at 40 West 117th Street, between 5th Avenue and Malcolm X Boulevard, will be open from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.
