Omar James Mendoza, a mechanical engineering student at The City College of New York, joined our team after almost a year of volunteering as a STEM instructor.

Bob Rubin reflects on the life of Charles McGill, a great artist and friend of The Bridge Golf Foundation, who passed away recently after a brief bout with cancer.

This month we meet Jacob Porter Scarborough, a 13-year-old who is new to the program. He recently fielded some questions from Executive Director and Co-Founder Farrell Evans.

Jeffrey Booker, a native of Benton Harbor, MI, started in July as the associate executive director of The Bridge Golf Foundation.

Our young men got to meet Doug Williams, Charles Sifford Jr., and Troy Mullins, a long drive champ and aspiring pro who picked up the game after running track at Cornell.

Randy Taylor, our teaching pro extraordinaire and budding filmmaker, captured our young men’s swings before and during a recent match against The First Tee of Metropolitan New York at Mosholu in the Bronx. It’s amazing to see the progress these junior golfers have made since joining our program!    

The high school students participating in our Youth Works program recently met with a financial adviser to learn how financial decisions made today can have a huge impact in the future.

All summer, our young men will be playing Wednesday matches at Mosholu against players from The First Tee of Metropolitan New York.
